About Us
The Food Pantry is dedicated to serving neighbors in the Batesville Community School District who, for a variety of reasons, have come upon hard times and do not have an income that is adequate to provide food for themselves and their family members. Our volunteers provide a welcoming setting in which our clients can be assured that they will be provided with good, nourishing food and basic toiletry items. Clients are free to visit on a monthly basis on Wednesday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm (June - September) or 1:00pm to 4:00pm (starting in October).
The Batesville Area Ministerial Association is a fellowship of churches seeking to serve the entire Batesville school district, regardless of denomination. The Association combines efforts to staff the food pantry with volunteers from each participating church. It also provides emergency funds for local needs.
Our goal is to alleviate hunger. We are aware that each and every one of us is only one pink slip or medical catastrophe away from being in the shoes that walk through our doors every week. We are grateful that the pantry is so well supported by our commuity. Won't you help too? All donations are tax deductible in accordance with IRS regulations. Batesville Area Ministerial Association Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
